GreenSeeker Mapping Systems

GreenSeeker data collection and mapping systems allow for taking plant health and vigor measurements on your schedule! No longer do you have to depend upon cloud free days for satellite images, or pay the high cost of aerial images. You can collect NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetative Index) data when you need it. You can also collect data during existing farming operations such as spraying, cultivation, mowing, etc. These images can by used to create management zones, identifying pest and disease problems, evaluation of drainage systems efficacy, modifying soil sampling strategies, monitoring and modifying irrigation schedules, determine optimum harvesting dates, making variable rate prescription maps, etc.

Basic Sensor Specification: GreenSeeker sensors have a 24 inch approx. field of view. Optimal sensing height is 32-48 inches above the plant. The percent of area coverage you get from each mapping system depends upon the spacing and number of sensors used.

The Right System for Your Crops

RT100 Data Collection and Mapping Unit

The GreenSeeker RT100 is a single sensor system. It utilizes a Windows CE device for data logging. Files are created in shape file format. Pixel length is typically one second of travel time.

RT200 On-the-Go Crop Mapping

The GreenSeeker RT200 can have 2-6 sensor. All sensors' data is averaged and logged as a single reading at a discrete time interval of one second. System uses windows CE device for data logging, and serial and CAN communications. Files are created in shape file format. Pixel length is typically one second of travel time.

RT400 Ultra-High Resolution Crop Mapping

The GreenSeeker RT400 allows for logging of individual sensor data. The system can have 2-50 sensors. System is CAN network based. System includes desk top software to post process collected. Software processes collected data files into shape file format. Pixel length is distance based and can be as small as 27 inches by field of view (24 inches) width.
