Rawson Variable Rate Controllers:
ACCU-RATE:The ACCU-RATE processor is multifunction, capable of independent control for two products using GIS. Has two RS-232 ports for two GIS inputs. It can be programmed for two different seed populations, or change seed at one rate and fertilizer at a different rate at the same time. PC programmable. Let's you update your own program. In the planting mode, you read seeds per acre from 1,000 increments to millions of seeds. In the fertilizer mode, the delivery rate is in pounds per acre from one pound to 100's of pounds. The processor will give you an ACCU-RATE acre count, digital speed read-out, and distance measurement. Now you can calibrate insecticides, herbicide, fertilizer and seed rate. Check your monitor, seed meters, oil chains, etc., before you go to the field! To calibrate, enter the desired number of seeds per acre, your planting speed, and feet to be traveled, catch the material, and make planter adjustments accordingly. Do the same for the fertilizer application. Enter in the spread width, the rate of material in pounds, your manual speed, delivery rate and then calibrate dispensing devise as many times as needed. After the processor is programmed you are ready to plant, or apply fertilizer. The processor gives you the speed in MPH, acre accumulated, number of feet traveled and population or pounds being dispensed per acre. The processor has a GPS mode and a non GPS mode. When in the non GPS mode you can change the rate by turning a 32 position dial; each position changes the population or pounds by 2%, 4%, or 6 2/3% plus or minus. For example: if you programmed for corn at 25,000 seeds per acre, you can vary the population from 10,000 to 41,000 seeds in 1,000 seed increments...on the go! No resetting! The memory of the processor saves your programmed information even when the tractor is turned off or when it its disconnected from the tractor battery. With the ACCU-RATE you can now do more precision farming, whether you are connected the the GPS system, or in the non-GPS mode, using the 32 position dial. You will be able to precisely plant, drill, or air spread any type of seed. You will also be able to adjust your fertilizer rate for constant volume liquid pumps, and many dry fertilizer dispensing units. |
