Software Upgrades:

New Pricing Structure for Updates

As of July 10, 2006, the pricing structure for updating your software was changed. The new pricing will be based on the number of products that a person is using. If you purchase an update now, you will receive a free update to Version X2 (12) when it is released at the end of August 2006.

The base price for an update (a single product such as Farm Trac) is $125. There is an additional charge of $25 for each additional product which you already own with a maximum cost of $200.

Update for 1 Program - $125
Update for 2 Program - $150
Update for 3 Program - $175
Update for 4 Program - $200

The update price when purchasing additional Farm Works programs is half of the price listed above.

You will only receive the update for the programs that you purchase the update for. So, if you choose not to update one of your programs, you will loose the functionality of that part of the software.

Generally Farmworks upgrades are free for one year after initial purchase or purchase of upgrade. No annual fee is required, so that as long as you are satisfied with the capabilities of the program, you never need to upgrade. Currently free upgrades are available for the following versions: v8.4 to v8.641, v9.0 to v9.301, or v10.0 or higher. These upgrades are free and can be downloaded directly from the Farmworks website using the links below. A single upgrade will upgrade all Farmworks modules within the same version.

For users with versions prior to 12.0 (X2) an upgrade may be purchased from AIM. The upgrade fee will upgrade the user from any previous version of Farmworks no matter when it was purchased. You may also be interested in our Support Combo which includes the current upgrade.

Ag Leader SMS Basic & SMS Advanced:

The Annual Maintenance Fee is required in order to receive upgrades and support from Ag Leader. If the annual fee has not been paid for one or more years, it must be made current in order to receive the current upgrade and support.

In order to upgrade from SMS Basic to SMS Advanced, the fee is $900.00. Upgrades are available by CD only.

Hardware Upgrades

Firmware Upgrades are available at no charge from Trimble, Ag Leader, and Raven from their websites.

The cost to upgrade or change firmware is $100.00 + s/h.
